Jonas Golfeto is a director, filmmaker, actor, and visual artist. Formerly a performer with Companhia do Feijão and Cia. Les Commediens Tropicales, he now focuses on hybrid projects at the intersection of visual arts and cinema. His research and creative practice are deeply rooted in photographic language and the dialectic of images.

Currently, Jonas is writing and directing the feature-length documentary The Feminine in Literature, scheduled to premiere in 2026. His work in literature and visual arts also includes the 2022 publication of his photo-literary book, The Gallow of Half-Truth.

Throughout his career, his work has been recognized with three cultural incentive awards: in 2018 for the documentary Vigília no Meio Fio, in 2017 for the street art exhibition Palácios Cariados, and in 2001 for the short fiction film Repvblica.

His academic background includes a degree in Art Photography and a postgraduate degree in Photography and Art (2023), both from SENAC-SP, as well as a Teaching Degree in Visual Arts (2026). He is currently pursuing a Professional Master's in Economics, with a concentration in the Economics and Policy of Culture and Creative Industries, at UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul).
